This page provides background, funding details, and program guidance for the electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure program established in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) of 2021. The National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program will provide Ohio $140 million over five years for Direct Current (DC) Fast chargers along designated Alternative Fuel Corridors. Interstate corridors will be the focus for the first year of program funds. In addition to formula funds, two discretionary grant programs will be available in the future.
