Ohio Praised for Its Forward-Thinking Initiatives

Ohio received accolades for its “forward-thinking initiatives that are inspiring innovation and drawing private investment to Ohio.” In a guest column in the Oct. 24 Columbus Dispatch, Joe Rinzel, a spokesperson for Americans for a Modern Economy, praised local and state officials for encouraging and embracing new technologies related to autonomous and connected vehicles. He cited the Smart Mobility Corridor as “the latest example of how Ohio has pushed the envelope of automation for decades.” He also recognized the Transportation Research Center and Smart Columbus as investments that “are signaling that the state is ready to shape the innovation economy of the future.”
